Whynter SNO 12,000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner Review from Josh Mclery. One of the better ones, I bought 2 A/Cs for two different bedrooms, this one and another leading brand with similar BTU ratings. Frankly, I was surprised at the disparity in perfomance between the two. This Whynter unit was lighter, quieter and overall much more powerful than the other one. I switched them around to to see if the room size or location was causing the problem, but ended with the same result. Needless to say I returned the other unit and bought another Whynter one. Appearance wise this looks quite good for a portable unit. I am very pleased with the selection.
